Introduced
Summary
Keeps military pay flowing during a funding gap. This bill would create a temporary continuing appropriation for fiscal year 2026 that authorizes the Treasury to provide the sums necessary to pay and provide allowances to members of the U.S. Armed Forces, including reserve members performing inactive-duty training, during any period when interim or full-year appropriations are not in effect, and that authority would end once a general or continuing appropriation for those purposes is enacted.

Keep military pay during gaps
If enacted, the bill would appropriate for fiscal year 2026 from Treasury such sums as are necessary to pay military pay and allowances. It would cover active-duty members and reserve members performing inactive-duty training during any period when interim or full-year FY2026 appropriations are not in effect. The authority and funds would end once Congress enacts an appropriation (including a continuing appropriation) for those purposes.
