More help for veterans' sports prostheses

If enacted, this bill would add adaptive prostheses and terminal devices for sports and recreation to the VA's definition of artificial limbs. That change would allow the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to furnish those devices as medical services to eligible veterans. If you are an eligible veteran, you would be able to get VA coverage for sports or recreational prosthetic devices, which could lower your out-of-pocket costs. The change would take effect upon enactment.
