Allow states to fund pregnancy centers
This bill would let States use grants under section 403 to support pregnancy centers. It would define "pregnancy center" to include organizations that support protecting the life of the mother and the unborn child. It would also say these centers offer resources and services to mothers, fathers, and families, such as relationship counseling, prenatal and pregnancy education, pregnancy testing, diapers, baby clothes, and other material supports. States would decide whether to give their section 403 grant money to these centers. The change would take effect upon enactment.
