Stop federal land sales in reconciliation
If enacted, this bill would amend the Congressional Budget Act to add a rule about Federal land transfers. It would make any sale, disposal, or transfer of Federal lands 'extraneous' under the Byrd Rule. That would bar such provisions from being included in budget reconciliation measures. The change would take effect upon enactment and mostly affects how Congress can fast-track land transfers.
