Precision Agriculture Cybersecurity Act

Sponsored By: Senator Sheehy, Tim [R-MT]

Introduced

Summary

Would assess cybersecurity risks to precision agriculture technologies. The bill would require the Secretary of Agriculture and the Secretary of Homeland Security, acting through the Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and in coordination with sector partners, to produce a public report within one year and to submit it to key congressional committees. A separate Comptroller General study would review government-wide coordination on precision agriculture cybersecurity and also be delivered to those committees.
