Extend genome research program authorization
If enacted, this bill would extend the Genome to Phenome Initiative's authorization through the year 2031 by changing the date in existing law. The change would take effect upon enactment. It would not itself provide new funding or change who can get grants. Researchers and research institutions tied to the program would remain authorized to operate under it.
