Allow federal funds for roundabouts
If enacted, the bill would add "construction of roundabouts" to the types of projects the Surface Transportation Block Grant Program (STBGP) can fund. This would let state and local transportation agencies plan, program, and seek STBGP money to build roundabouts under existing STBGP rules and approval processes. The bill would not create new funding or change how STBGP money is apportioned.
