Sponsored By: Senator Boozman, John [R-AR]
Introduced
Summary
This bill would create a consolidated, data-driven annual reporting system to track access, utilization, provider capacity, and outcomes for gender-specific health care for women veterans. It would reshape Section 7310A of title 38 to expand what the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) must collect and publish about women veterans' care, including non-VA care and specific measures like wait times and travel times.

- Women veterans. Would require detailed reporting on access to reproductive care, mental health, military sexual trauma counseling, gynecologic and maternity care, multiple cancer screenings, and other conditions that affect women. Reports must show demographic and service-era breakdowns so trends for different groups are visible.
- VA facilities and community providers. Would mandate data on provider staffing, vacancies, training standards, community provider training for gender-specific services, and Centers of Excellence and registry data to identify capacity gaps.
- Policymakers and overseers. Would produce consolidated annual reports with geographic, facility, and utilization trends and include evaluation of Deborah Sampson Act implementation to inform oversight and planning.
