New trains would add baby changing tables
If enacted, certain intercity passenger rail cars would need baby changing tables. Covered cars are newly purchased after enactment, owned by Amtrak or other federally assisted intercity rail providers, and have at least one public restroom. Each covered car would have at least one table in a restroom; if there is an ADA-compliant public restroom, that restroom would include the table. Restrooms and tables would have clear signs showing where to find them. Private rail cars and historical cars would be excluded, and each table would support a child up to 30 pounds.
