Insurance study for mushroom farmers

If enacted, the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation would study options to insure mushroom production or revenue. It could do the work itself or hire qualified contractors. The FCIC would send a report with the research results and recommendations to the House and Senate agriculture committees within 1 year of enactment. This would not create an insurance program right away.
