Keep credit protections for borrowers

If enacted, this joint resolution would disapprove the CFPB rule published at 90 Fed. Reg. 20084 (May 12, 2025). That CFPB rule withdrew an earlier Regulation B rule published at 87 Fed. Reg. 30097 (May 18, 2022) about revocations or unfavorable changes to existing credit terms. If passed, the disapproval would mean the CFPB withdrawal would have no force or effect and the earlier Regulation B protections would remain in place. Consumers with existing credit accounts would keep those protections against revocations or bad changes to credit terms.
