Limit U.S. military action against Iran

If enacted, this bill would direct the President to remove United States Armed Forces from hostilities within or against Iran. Hostilities would be allowed only if Congress explicitly authorizes them by a declaration of war or a specific authorization for use of military force. The directive is issued pursuant to 50 U.S.C. 1546a and in accordance with section 601(b) of Public Law 94-329. The bill would not stop the United States from defending against an attack on the United States, its personnel, or its facilities abroad. It would also allow collecting and sharing intelligence; helping partner countries attacked by Iran since February 28, 2026, including intercepting retaliatory attacks and providing defensive materiel support; and assisting the security, departure, and evacuation of U.S. citizens.
