Would honor AmeriCorps members and AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers and declare March 9–15, 2025 AmeriCorps Week. It would highlight that about 200,000 people serve each year at nearly 40,000 locations and that AmeriCorps programs have provided millions of service hours helping vulnerable people, responding to disasters, protecting the environment, supporting education, and expanding economic opportunity. The resolution would also note that over roughly 30 years about 1.3 million people have served and members have earned more than $4.5 billion to use for education and career readiness.
