A resolution honoring the memory of Jereima "Jeri" Bustamante on the seventh anniversary of her passing.

Sponsored By: Senator Scott, Rick [R-FL]

Introduced

Summary

Honor the life and legacy of Jereima Bustamante. This resolution would highlight that she immigrated from Panama, earned a BA and an MA while working to pay for school, rose from a TV internship to serve as press secretary to Governor Rick Scott, and died in a boating accident. It would recognize the Jereima Bustamante Memorial Scholarship that helps Miami Beach Senior High graduates pursue college and encourage recipients to carry on her example.
