It recounts the school's 1925 founding as Hammond Junior College, the 1928 transition to Southeastern Louisiana College, the 1970 change to university status, and McGehee Hall's listing on the National Register of Historic Places, highlights its service to more than 15,000 students across five colleges and its strengths in education, health sciences, the arts, and athletics, and requests that an enrolled copy be sent to President Dr. William S. Wainwright, Provost Dr. Tena L. Golding, and Vice President Wendy Lauderdale.
