A mandatory, detailed U.S. review of South Sudan's human rights practices focused on people the U.S. has removed there. This bill would require the Secretary of State, within 30 days, to send a statement to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and the House Foreign Affairs Committee prepared with the Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor and the State Department legal office.
