Introduced

Summary

This resolution would require the Secretary of State to provide, within 30 days, a 502B(c) statement focused on the human rights risks facing people who have been removed to Honduras, especially non‑citizens, and the role U.S. policy or assistance may play. The statement must detail alleged abuses such as arbitrary arrest, torture, enforced disappearances, trafficking, due‑process and detention conditions, U.S. steps to prevent or respond to those harms, assessments of whether U.S. security assistance could enable abuses, records of removals in 2025-2026, assurances or agreements sought, and summaries of meetings between Honduran and U.S. officials.
