A resolution raising awareness of lake sturgeon.

Protect and restore lake sturgeon through coordinated conservation and public outreach. This resolution would encourage Federal, State, Tribal, local, and Canadian partners to collaborate on rebuilding slow-maturing lake sturgeon populations, identifying and restoring shallow-water and spawning habitat, preventing and controlling invasive species, increasing public awareness, and educating anglers on proper handling while acknowledging the species' cultural importance to Indigenous communities.
