Summary
Transfers about 8.97 acres of Black Hills National Forest land to Pennington County, South Dakota, for a county public works facility or other county uses. The Secretary of Agriculture, acting through the Chief of the Forest Service, would convey the parcel shown on a June 22, 2026 map without monetary payment, may attach terms and conditions, and must modify the Black Hills National Forest boundary to reflect the transfer.

Forest land transfer to Pennington County
If enacted, this bill would direct the Agriculture Secretary to transfer about 8.97 acres of National Forest land in the Black Hills National Forest to Pennington County, South Dakota. The transfer would include any buildings on the parcel and would be without payment. The Secretary could set terms and conditions and must modify the forest boundary to reflect the conveyance.
