Limited interstate driving for young drivers
If enacted, you would be allowed to drive a commercial vehicle across State lines within 150 air miles of your normal work location. This would apply only if you are at least 18 but under 21 and hold a commercial driver's license limited to intrastate operation. You would have to return to and be released from your normal work reporting location within 14 consecutive hours after departing. You would also need at least 10 consecutive hours off duty between those on-duty periods, and your normal work reporting location must remain in the State that issued your CDL.
