Summary
Gives state attorneys general new power to sue over price discrimination. This bill would amend Section 4C(a)(1) of the Clayton Act to add authority to bring actions under section 2 of this Act. That change lets a State attorney general bring parens patriae civil suits for damages when businesses violate the Robinson-Patman Act's price discrimination rules. It creates a clearer federal basis for states to pursue price-discrimination claims on behalf of injured buyers.
