Summary

Ends federal Temporary Protected Status (TPS) authority. This bill would repeal Section 244 of the Immigration and Nationality Act and remove the federal power to grant TPS. Any TPS grant in effect on enactment would terminate on that date, and people with TPS would have 60 days to depart the United States and would cease to be lawfully present after those 60 days.
