Promote kindness and community connection. This resolution would say the United States should recognize kind actions, encourage kindness, spread love, and foster a culture of being kind to one another. It defines kindness as doing something for someone else without expecting anything in return, describes how everyday kindness strengthens families, neighborhoods, schools, and civic bonds, and cites studies linking kindness to better health, greater mindfulness, and reduced interpersonal conflict.
