FHA Multifamily MIP Cut to 0.25%

If you have a multifamily loan insured by the Federal Housing Administration (FHA), your mortgage insurance premium (MIP) is reduced to 0.25% for all FHA Multifamily Insurance Programs. HUD also eliminates the 2016 MIP categories named Green and Energy Efficient Housing, Affordable Housing, and Broadly Affordable Housing. HUD says this final notice implements actions tied to the January 20, 2025 presidential memorandum and finalizes HUD’s June 26, 2025 proposed notice.
