DEKRA Can Test 32 More Standards
If you make or use products that require NRTL certification under OSHA, DEKRA Certification Inc. can now test and certify products to 32 additional test standards and at one new test site in Dresden, Germany. This expanded scope of recognition becomes effective on December 31, 2025, and enables employers to use DEKRA-approved products to meet OSHA standards that require third-party testing and certification.
Two Standards Added to NRTL List
OSHA added two test standards—UL 60335-2-69 (requirements for wet and dry vacuum cleaners including power brush for commercial use) and UL 60335-2-79 (requirements for high pressure cleaners and steam cleaners)—to the NRTL Program's List of Appropriate Test Standards. NRTLs recognized for these standards may perform the third-party testing and certification that OSHA requires for workplace use of covered equipment.
