New Mandatory Federal Purchase
Starting February 15, 2026, the federal government added NSN 5180-00-650-7821 (Kit, Electrician's Tool, Quick Change, 23 PC) to the Procurement List as a mandatory purchase. The authorized source is Industries for the Blind and Visually Impaired, Inc., West Allis, WI, which gives that nonprofit a required government customer for this product.
Removals From Procurement List
On February 15, 2026, the Committee removed specific items and services from the Procurement List, including NSN 7920-01-215-6569 (Cloth, Synthetic Shammy, Orange, 20' x 23') and three services (warehouse and distribution at NIH Rockville, laundry at USCG Base Portsmouth, and multi-function support at St. Paul). These deletions mean the listed nonprofit agencies will no longer be the mandatory authorized suppliers for those items or services.
No Added Compliance Burden
The Committee certified that the actions adding and deleting items will not result in additional reporting, recordkeeping, or other compliance requirements for small entities. This certification appears in both the additions and deletions sections of the notice.
