Private Sector Invited to Space Events

The Department of State is inviting private companies, schools, and space groups to provide perspectives and serve as private sector advisors to U.S. delegations at workshops, meetings, symposia, and other events related to space safety and commercial space through December 31, 2026.

Event Solicitations Posted 30 Days Ahead

Specific solicitations for private sector participation, including event dates and locations, will be posted at least 30 days before each event on the Bureau of Oceans and International Environmental and Scientific Affairs page: https://www.state.gov/remarks-and-releases-bureau-of-oceans-and-international-environmental-and-scientific-affairs/.

Limited Non-Government Slots May Restrict Access

The notice warns there may be a limited number of slots for non-U.S. government participants at many events, which could limit who can join or serve as advisors.
