Draft PPRA finds low pest risk for MON 94637

APHIS prepared a draft Plant Pest Risk Assessment that concluded MON 94637 'is unlikely to pose an increased plant pest risk' compared to the nonmodified soybean. That draft assessment and the petition (APHIS Petition Number 25-321-01p) are available for public review.

Public comment open until April 20, 2026

The USDA/APHIS made Bayer's petition and a draft plant pest risk assessment available for public review and will accept written comments through April 20, 2026. You may submit comments at www.regulations.gov (Docket No. APHIS-2026-0166) or by mail to the APHIS docket address listed in the notice.
