Summary

Constellation Energy wants to update the license for the Christopher M. Crane Clean Energy Center so it can keep running smoothly and safely. Safeguards Information access: paperwork and fee

If you need access to sensitive NRC safeguards information (SGI) to prepare a contention, you must request access by March 6, 2026 and submit forms SF-85 and FD-258 (fingerprint card). You must also pay $403.00 per individual for the required background/fingerprint processing and may need to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

Public comment and hearing deadlines

You can send the NRC comments about the proposed license changes for the Christopher M. Crane Clean Energy Center by March 26, 2026. If you want to ask for a hearing or to intervene, you must file that request or petition by April 27, 2026.

Deadlines to file SGI-based contentions

If you receive SGI for preparing a contention, you must file any contentions based on that SGI no later than 25 days after you get the information (unless a later common deadline applies). The NRC's order also sets a target schedule for processing SGI access requests and related filings.
