2 provisions identified: 1 benefits, 1 costs, 0 mixed.

Updated Farm Power of Attorney

The Farm Service Agency updated the FSA-211 Power of Attorney and the FSA-211A continuation sheet so they more clearly describe what an appointed agent (Grantee) may do for a Grantor in FSA and NRCS programs and in FCIC/RMA crop insurance transactions. By signing the updated FSA-211, the Grantor certifies they read and understand a listed set of policies. The forms are used by FSA, NRCS, and FCIC under RMA to verify someone’s authority to sign and to help prevent errors or fraud.

Paperwork Time Burden Unchanged

FSA estimates this information collection affects 16,000 respondents with an average response time of 0.484 hours (about 29.06 minutes) per response, totaling 7,750 annual burden hours. The agency states there are no expected extra costs or delays, and comments on the revision are requested by May 18, 2026.
