Analyzed Economic Effects
4 provisions identified: 3 benefits, 1 costs, 0 mixed.
Survey Will Drop Several Questions
AmeriCorps plans to revise the NCCC Project Sponsor Survey to eliminate several questions to reduce the burden on responding organizations. The agency estimates 300 annual responses and 100 total annual burden hours for this collection (OMB Control Number 3045-0190).
Financial Reporting Simplified To Estimates
AmeriCorps will change one question so sponsors provide an estimate of contributed funds and in-kind contributions instead of submitting a detailed spreadsheet. This change is part of the proposed revision to the NCCC Project Sponsor Survey (OMB Control Number 3045-0190).
Current Survey Continues Until OMB Approval
AmeriCorps will continue using the current NCCC Project Sponsor Survey until the revised survey is approved by OMB. The current information collection is due to expire on March 31, 2026.
Opportunity To Comment By April 20, 2026
AmeriCorps seeks public feedback on the proposed NCCC Project Sponsor Survey revisions and asks that written comments be submitted by April 20, 2026 via www.reginfo.gov. A prior 60-day notice ended February 20, 2026 and received no public comments.
