Bill Overview

Analyzed Economic Effects

3 provisions identified: 3 benefits, 0 costs, 0 mixed.

Alaska parole board continues through 2029

The Alaska Board of Parole continues through June 30, 2029. The law extends its end date from June 30, 2025, keeping its role in parole decisions in place. It does not change the board's duties or create new funding, taxes, or fees.

Alaska veterinary oversight continues through 2031

The Alaska Board of Veterinary Examiners continues through June 30, 2031. The law extends its end date from June 30, 2025, preserving its existing oversight of veterinarians. It does not change the board's duties or create new funding, taxes, or fees.

Alaska nursing and midwife boards continue

Alaska's Board of Nursing and Board of Certified Direct-Entry Midwives continue through June 30, 2031. Both previously had a June 30, 2025, end date. Their existing oversight continues; the law adds no funding or changes to duties, taxes, or fees. The law exempts all four board extensions from the usual one-board-per-bill limit. It takes effect immediately. If its effective date falls after June 30, 2025, the extensions apply back to that date.
