Expanded funding options for Alaska schools

The law makes Mt. Edgecumbe High School eligible for Alaska's regional educational attendance area and small municipal school district fund. Alaska can use this fund for construction and major repairs at the school, alongside already eligible districts. Projects must be approved under AS 14.11.025. The law also removes the $70 million cap on cash left unspent and uncommitted in the fund. It does not guarantee project funding, add a specific funding amount, or require more spending.
