Arkansas funds Governor’s Mansion operations

From July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, the law funds Arkansas Governor’s Mansion Commission staffing and operations. It provides $1.50025 million from the State Central Services Fund, including $235,000 for utilities. Another $500,000 from a state cash fund covers the Grand Hall, mansion, and grounds. The commission can have up to 10 regular employees and four temporary or part-time employees. Temporary and part-time pay cannot exceed the applicable job classification rates. At fiscal year-end, the Chief Fiscal Officer must transfer any Mansion Cash Fund balance above $300,000 to the State Central Services Fund. That transfer supports related state expenses; the law creates no direct household payment or benefit.
