For July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026, the law provides $32.3 million for land sales tied to overdue property taxes. This includes $27.5 million to distribute tax proceeds and pay sale refunds, plus $1.3 million for refunds and recording-fee reimbursements. Another $1.5 million covers operations, and $2 million covers professional fees. Payments support former owners, lienholders, buyers, and local taxing units under existing Arkansas land-sale and redemption laws. The law funds these payments; it does not change tax rates or create a new individual payment formula.
For July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026, the law provides $250,000 in cash funds for projects involving submerged land. The Arkansas Commissioner of State Lands manages this money for staff and operating costs. The funding does not establish direct household payments or individual eligibility.
For July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026, the law provides about $4.397 million for Arkansas state lands office operations. This includes about $3.250 million for salaries, $1.082 million for employer benefits and taxes, and $40,000 for temporary help. The office can employ up to 42 regular workers, with maximum annual salaries ranging from $47,728 to $142,769. It can also hire up to five temporary or part-time workers when needed, within state pay limits. A separate $267,800 in cash funds covers equipment and operating costs. Spending must stay within appropriations and available funds and follow state purchasing, accounting, and payroll laws.
