For July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026, the law budgets $26.39271 million from Arkansas’s State Central Services Fund. This supports Attorney General operations, with limits of 164 regular employees and 10 temporary or part-time employees. The law also sets pay limits for budgeted jobs. Transfers between operations budget lines require the state Chief Fiscal Officer’s approval and prior Legislative Council or Joint Budget Committee review. The Attorney General can also move uncommitted cash from court orders or settlements into the State Central Services Fund. These powers begin July 1, 2025, and spending remains subject to state budget and purchasing laws.
For July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026, the law provides $486,725 in designated federal funds for disability claim investigations. The Cooperative Disability Investigation Program can have up to three regular employees. Its budget includes $42,000 for overtime and $55,000 for operating costs. The law does not change disability benefit eligibility or payment rules.
For July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026, the law provides $25,000 in designated federal funds for operating expenses. The money supports the Attorney General’s Internet Crimes Against Children program and its investigations. It does not provide direct household payments.
For July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026, the law funds Arkansas’s Medicaid fraud enforcement work. It provides $1.069182 million from the State Central Services Fund and $3.506929 million in designated federal funds. Another $498,461 in designated federal funds pays for shared operating costs. Staffing limits are six regular state-funded employees, plus 19 regular and two temporary or part-time federally funded employees. This funding does not change Medicaid eligibility or benefits.
For July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026, the law authorizes $10 million from unrestricted settlement fees and other cash funds. The Attorney General can use it for staff, operating costs, grants, court-ordered payments, consumer education, and enforcement. A separate $31,000 cash-fund budget supports staff, operating costs, grants, fund transfers, and restitution payments and expenses. These funds support consumer protection, but the law does not name recipients or set household payment amounts.
