From July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, Arkansas State University–Mountain Home has about $21.14 million in spending authority. This includes $4.61541 million from its state fund and $16.525 million from campus cash funds. The budget covers about $6.55 million in regular salaries, $815,000 for temporary staff, and $2.75 million in employer benefits. It also covers $5.5 million in operating costs, $4.25 million in equipment and capital projects, and $600,000 in debt payments. Other amounts include $110,000 for travel, $325,000 for professional fees, $25,000 for promotional items, and a $219,781 contingency reserve. Spending cannot exceed these appropriations or available funds and must follow state fiscal rules. This funding supports campus services, not direct payments to households.
From July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, Arkansas State University–Mountain Home can employ up to 198 regular workers. Each job has a pay ceiling: examples include $208,138 for the chancellor and $200,973 for a network engineer. Faculty ceilings are $139,340 for 12-month positions, $111,362 for nine-month positions, and $56,046 for part-time positions. The campus can also hire up to 70 temporary or part-time extra-help workers when needed, using money budgeted for them. Their pay cannot exceed applicable state classification rates or this law’s rates; no hiring is guaranteed.
