The law authorizes about $46.75 million for North Arkansas College from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026. State funding totals about $9.26 million: $7.02 million for salaries, $1.2 million for employer payroll costs, $601,391 for operations, and $440,974 for contingency. Another $37.49 million comes from college cash funds, including $4.75 million for salaries and $3.426 million for employer payroll costs. Cash funds also cover $886,000 for temporary workers and $40,000 for overtime. They include $11.2 million for capital improvements, $2.95 million for equipment and other capital purchases, and $2.25 million for debt payments. Another $5.723 million covers fund transfers, refunds, and investments; remaining money supports operations, travel, professional services, and promotional items. Spending must stay within approved amounts and follow state budget and purchasing laws. This funding supports the college, not direct household payments, and does not change tuition or student benefits.
From July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, North Arkansas College can have up to 381 regular employees. The law sets maximum annual pay by job, including $208,138 for the president and $200,973 for a network engineer. It lists 67 nine-month faculty positions at a $111,362 maximum and 200 nine-month part-time faculty positions at $56,046. The college can also hire up to 500 temporary or part-time workers when needed. Their pay must come from money approved for that purpose and stay within this law's or applicable state pay limits. These are staffing and pay authorizations, not guaranteed jobs or guaranteed salaries.
