For July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, the law approves about $39.414 million for the college. This includes $11.237 million from the state college fund and $28.177 million from the college’s cash funds. The money supports employee pay, campus operations, teaching, and student services. Cash funds include $15.088 million for capital improvements, $1.75 million for capital purchases, and $301,000 for debt payments. They also include $2.5 million for transfers, refunds, and investments. Spending must stay within approved amounts and available funds and follow state fiscal, purchasing, and salary rules; households receive no direct payment.
From July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, University of Arkansas East Arkansas Community College can employ 286 regular workers. The law sets job-by-job salary limits, including $208,138 for the chancellor and $111,362 for 54 nine-month faculty positions. The college can also hire up to 275 temporary or part-time workers when needed. Their pay cannot exceed applicable state pay limits or this law’s rates for their job classification. Temporary-worker pay must come from money approved for that purpose; the law does not guarantee anyone a job.
