For July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, the law authorizes $5.355703 million from the college's state fund and $13.94125 million from cash funds. Together, these spending limits include $8.051 million for regular pay, $365,000 for temporary help, and $2.48 million for employer benefits and payroll costs. They also include $5.29717 million for operating costs, $298,750 for travel, and $300,000 for professional services. Further amounts cover $1 million in capital purchases, $500,000 in capital improvements, $700,000 in debt payments, $50,000 in promotional items, and $255,033 for unexpected needs. Spending must follow state purchasing, budget, and salary rules and stay within legally available funds; the law does not change tuition or provide household payments.
From July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, Cossatot Community College can employ up to 204 regular workers. Each listed job has a maximum yearly salary, including $208,138 for the chancellor and $200,973 for the IT network engineer. The college can also hire up to 100 temporary or part-time workers when needed, using money set aside for extra help. Their pay cannot exceed the rates under the Uniform Classification and Compensation Act or its replacement. These job authorizations do not guarantee hiring or payment of the maximum salary.
