From July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, the law provides $1.63389 million for education partners’ equipment and grants. Partners belong to the Arkansas Delta Training and Education Consortium (ADTEC) and the University Center partnership. Listed allocations range from $97,640 for the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith to $436,878 for Arkansas State University–Mid-South. Before distributing money to selected University Center partners and participating ADTEC partners, Mid-South must consult ADTEC and receive its advice. Partners must use the money for the purposes set by law.
For July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, Arkansas State University–Mid-South gets a $6.561348 million state appropriation for operations. This includes $4 million for regular salaries, $310,000 for temporary help, and $312,445 for unexpected needs. The law also authorizes up to $25 million in cash-fund spending, including $5 million for capital improvements. Another $1.5 million within that cash-fund amount covers grants and aid to other recipients. The college can employ up to 300 regular staff and 200 part-time or temporary staff, without guaranteeing those jobs. Regular salaries must follow the law’s maximum rates; temporary pay must follow applicable state pay limits. Spending cannot exceed authorized amounts or available funds and must follow state fiscal and purchasing rules.
