For July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, the law authorizes two separate funding streams for National Park College. The National Park College Fund provides $12.046523 million: $8.796704 million for salaries, $1.3 million for staff-related matching costs, and $1.35 million for operations. That stream also includes $573,644 for contingency needs and $26,175 for funded depreciation. A separate cash-fund appropriation provides $21.42 million, using cash funds defined by state law. It includes $2.1 million for salaries, $1 million for temporary staff, and $1.25 million for staff-related matching costs. It also includes $7.02 million for operations, $150,000 for travel, and $400,000 for professional fees. Another $7.3 million covers equipment and other capital costs, while $2.2 million covers debt payments. Spending must follow state purchasing, accounting, budget, salary, revenue, and higher-education spending rules, and the purposes recorded in budget and legislative records. This funding supports the college; it does not provide direct household payments.
From July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, National Park College may employ up to 380 regular workers. It may also use up to 402 temporary or part-time workers when needed, paid from funds set aside for them. Regular workers’ pay cannot exceed the maximum listed for each job. Examples include $200,973 for an IT Network Engineer and $111,362 for nine-month faculty. Temporary workers’ pay cannot exceed the applicable job rate under the state’s classification and compensation law, its successor, or this law.
