The Arkansas Oil and Gas Commission must give written notice when the law requires a public hearing on certain well permits. This covers permits to drill, deepen, re-enter, recomplete, or operate Class II underground injection control disposal wells. Each state lawmaker representing the district where the well is located must receive notice. The notice must explain how to access the permit application and give the hearing’s date, time, and location. The Commission may send it by email.
