Beginning July 1, 2025, the law renews permission to spend remaining money from earlier Arkansas human services renovation appropriations. It allows up to $2 million to build, replace, renovate, upgrade, or expand the Arkansas Health Center warehouse. It also allows up to $1.175065 million to repair or replace Arkansas State Hospital roofs. Agencies cannot make contracts or commitments beyond available funds. They can add grants, donations, federal funds, and cash not already committed, but cannot use maintenance and general operations appropriations. Spending must follow state purchasing and fiscal laws, unless another law provides otherwise, and the approved project purposes. This funding supports state facilities, not direct payments to households.
