Arkansas ends technology purchase review

Arkansas ends the Office of Intergovernmental Services' required planning and technical review before covered technology contracts or purchases. The Office of State Procurement no longer must ensure information is submitted for that review. The former rule covered technology contracts totaling at least $100,000, including amendments or possible extensions. It also covered technology purchases through cooperative purchase agreements under Arkansas Code § 19-11-249, without a stated dollar threshold. The law adds no replacement review or household benefit and leaves procurement rules outside the repealed process unchanged.
