Arkansas speech-language pathology and audiology licenses expire each year unless renewed. Renewal payments must be postmarked by the license’s expiration date, replacing the fixed annual deadline. Payments postmarked within 15 days after expiration carry no late fee, and licensees are not considered to be practicing without a license. For payments postmarked 16 or more days after expiration, the Board may renew the license upon payment of the renewal fee plus the existing monthly late penalty. These late renewals take effect the day after the renewal request is postmarked. Renewing an expired license does not require an exam.
