Beginning July 1, 2025, the law funds roof repairs at the Arkansas Oil and Gas Commission’s Education Center/Warehouse. It provides up to $275,274 in federal funds and $296,552 in State Treasury cash funds. The state’s Chief Fiscal Officer determines the funding sources, and these appropriations are limited to this roof project. The department can supplement the funding with grants, donations, federal funds, and its own cash not already committed. Contracts and obligations cannot exceed State Treasury funds actually available, and regular maintenance and operating appropriations cannot fund this project. Spending must follow applicable state purchasing, accounting, budget, and revenue laws and related regulations unless another law provides otherwise. Spending must also match the purposes recorded in budget materials and legislative records. The law does not create direct household payments or benefits.
