The law authorizes $950,780 for the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences’ Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Program. It covers staff and operating costs from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026. The money comes from a State Treasury cash fund determined by the state’s Chief Fiscal Officer. Spending cannot exceed the approved amount or funds made available by law. It must follow state purchasing, accounting, budget, salary, and higher education spending rules, plus state finance department regulations. Spending must also match the program purposes shown in supporting budget materials and legislative records. The law supports program operations, not direct payments to households.
