Arkansas school ratings recognize same-year GED passes
Arkansas school ratings must include achievement and growth on annual statewide tests, graduation rates, and English learners' progress in learning English. Other measures are also allowed. Schools exclude students from the dropout count for their five-year graduation rate if they pass a GED test. Students must pass during the same year they dropped out. This changes school reporting and ratings, not household benefits or costs.
