Hearing dispensers can order device use

Arkansas law now includes ordering the use of hearing instruments in hearing instrument dispensers’ scope of practice. Existing work still includes hearing tests, recommendations, choosing instruments, and making earmolds or ear impressions. It also includes counseling about sales, rentals, leases, prices, delivery, and warranties. The change does not set new household costs or rules about who qualifies for services.
